OpenCM9.04 Controller
 OpenCM9.04 Controller

OpenCM9.04 is an inexpensive opensource Controller based on STM32F103CB (a 32 bit ARM Cortex-M3 type proccessor) with speed of 72Mhz. Using its programing environment that is similar to Arduino, the connection can be made between TTL dynamixels and other sensors and devices. The programing is possible with USB cable.

USB2Dynamixel
USB to Dynamixel

The USB2Dynamixel is a device used to directly drive the dynamixel on a PC. The USB2Dynamixel is used by connecting to a USB port of a PC, and is equipped with 3p and 4p connectors to be connected with a variety of dynamixels.
In addition, the USB2Dynamixel can be used to transform a USB port into a serial port for a PC without a serial port such as a lap-top computer. This function can be used effectively when dynamixel exclusive controllers such as the CM-2, CM-2+ and CM-5 are connected to an UBS port or when the ZIG2Serial is connected to an USB port to control a robot by radio.

ZIG-100 is a small module that has a built-in MCU and Zigbee IC, allowing UART communication using 2.4GHz frequency. Utilized as a PAN (Personal Area Network) Module, it replaces wired serial communication with more modern wireless characteristics.

ZIG2Serial is a device to connect ZIG-100 to serial port (COM Port) of PC.
It can change TTL level signal of ZIG-100 to RS-232C level and it has button that can reset a ZIG-100 as manual form and status display LED.

Using BT-100/BT-110A that includes 2 boards of bluetooth to serial, robots can be controlled by remote controls, or they can be connected to the computer by ZIG2Serial and the connection with robot can be created by cellphone bluetooth and other similar smart devices. RC-100 remote control is used for controlling the robot by Infrared. So wireless connection will be possible by connectiong IR recievers to controllers such as CM-100 and CM-510. Adding ZIG-100 and ZIG-110 to RC-100 remote control, Zigbee type wireless connetion with robot can be created. This set has been distributed as RC-100Z.

PIR-10 Motion Detector
 PIR-10 Motion Detector

PIR Sensor is used for detecting motions. It can sens objects moving that are in its detecting interval. It can be conjoined to the robot using rivet of ROBOTIS DREAM or OLLO. Its motion detecting interval is between 20cm and 2m, and the angular limit is ±45deg.

TPS-10 Temprature Sensor
TPS-10 Temprature Sensor

TPS-10 Temprature sensor is for recognition the temprature changes. Considering its water proof feature (exept for its connector part), it can be use for recognition the changes of liquid temprature. It can be conjoined to the robot using rivet of ROBOTIS DREAM or OLLO kits. Its temprature detecting interval is between -20ºC and 120ºC.

Dynamixel SDK

Using this standard library, we can create a software that controls the Srevos and Dynamixel equipments by USB2Dynamixel convertor via computer's USB directly. It includes some samples in Java, Labview, Matlab, Python, Visual Basic, Visual C# and Visual C++ programming environments.

Zigbee SDK

3-Axis Accelerometer for DYNAMIXEL

This module could measure the acceleration in three perpendicular axes using ADXL330 sensor. One of main advantages of this module is that it provides information in Dynamixel format. Therefore, it could be easily connected to different Robotis controllers and the acceleration data would be available for those controllers. DYNMXL330 could be also connected to PC through USB2Dynamixel Interface.
Using this module you can easily detect the robot fallings as well as its direction of fall.
